			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For many people, one of the most difficult things about taking up yoga is finding a good teacher or finding the time to attend a class between all of the demands of life and work. For some reason many yoga classes in my city take place in the middle of the morning. I guess they are aimed at people who don’t have to go out to work every day. And in the evenings I need to spend time with my children before they go to bed, so yoga classes at that time are difficult too. Luckily I’ve found that I’ve been able to keep active and learning by using  a <a href="http://hubpages.com/hub/A-Yoga-DVD-to-Move-From-Beginner-to-Expert">yoga DVD</a> at home with no more than a television, a bit of space and my <a href="http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Joy-of-a-Cotton-Yoga-Mat">cotton yoga mat</a>. That way I can do my yoga at a time that works for me.</p>
<p>The best time for me is to get up really early, before the kids wake up and need to be fed and dressed for school, and to do my yoga when the house is still and quiet. I’ve also been able to find that with different styles of yoga available on DVD I’ve been able to mix things up a bit and experiment. I haven’t move away from my favorite form of yoga but I have enjoyed trying out different ones now and then. One word of warning, though, is that it helps to take some classes with a good teacher before you start doing it yourself. A beginners yoga DVD should run through some safety warnings and tell you what to do to avoid hurting your body but there is nothing like being corrected in person by a trained and experienced teacher. That way you’ll have the knowledge to really advance much more quickly when you start practicing on your own at home.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Being diagnosed with a serious illness really opened my eyes to that fact that I needed to improve my nutritional intake. It was discovered during the diagnostic process that I had allergies to dairy products and eggs. I had never been aware of this before. I was not really surprised to find out about these allergies. But, since I was a big cheese-eater, I was very concerned that I now had to give it up. Finally, all of the years I had suffered with migraine headaches and chronic sinusitis now were explained. After 35 years of daily Afrin use, when I dropped the dairy, my sinuses cleared and Afrin lost one of their best customers!</p>
<p>Most of the migraines I was getting at least once a week, for the most part stopped.  It was amazing to me that I could suffer all of these years with these chronic conditions and never relate them to my reliance on dairy products. Since my health became of utmost importance to me, I had to leave the cheese behind and find substitutes that I could live with. I wasn't sure I would be able to replicate the texture and taste of the cheeses I had loved for so long. I was willing to compromise to a point.</p>
<p>Quickly finding out that I was far from the only person dealing with dairy allergies, I was able to find some great options that worked well with my lifestyle. I can actually make some decent substitutes at home! I found some great raw food cookbooks (such as “Raw Food, Real World” by Matthew Kenney and Sarma Melngailis and “Living Raw Food” by Sarma Melngailis).</p>
<p>Also, amazingly, Google is an incredibly vast resource to so many wonderful <a href="http://www.mycheaphealthymeals.com/cheap-healthy-meals/healthy-meal-ideas-brown-rice-pasta-and-fresh-broccoli">healthy meal ideas</a> and resources for vegan cheeses. I found and adapted some great recipes and with some creativity, came up with a couple of my own. Dr. Cow in Brooklyn, New York, sells raw "cheese" that is made from nuts. It is delicious and can be ordered through mail order.</p>
<p>When I consider how much better I feel and how much weight I was able to lose simply by eliminating cheese and refined processed foods from my life, I will never look back. My health issues are under control and I feel better than ever. I never before realized how much <a href="http://www.mycheaphealthymeals.com/vegan-condiments/eating-healthy-vegan-cheese-sauce">eating healthy</a> can have an impact on our health. Now I am living proof!</p>
